The Tech Zone has a look at Samsung's SW-240 40/12/40 CD-RW drive.
CD rewriter drives has become a ubiquitous part of the home computer, and due to this every six months or so they seem to get faster and cheaper. Case in point. My first CR-RW drive was bought three years ago just before I got my broadband cable connection (I knew my downloading was going to spike). It was and Iomega ZipCD 650, with a rated speed of 4x/4x/24x. It cost me $299.99 CND plus taxes (total came to $341.99 CND). I still have the drive, but that's beside the point. The point is that since then prices have dropped considerably, to the point where one can pick up a very fast drive at a very cheap price.More information at The Tech Zone
