Video Card Overclocking Guide

By: (more) | Online Video News | Posted: Sep 5, 2001 2:03 am

While many of us may think it's almost second nature to overclock a video card, there are many who have never tried it before. WinHQ has just posted a new guide entitled Video Card Overclocking that shows you just how easy it can be to get that added performance that you've been looking for...and at no added cost. here's a snip:

"Luckily, all the stuff you need to overclock your video card is free and available for download. You need a utility that supports your card, and you can pull one off of TweakFiles. Download one that corresponds with your chip. Remember, a Geforce overclocker will tweak all Geforce card brands. (ie. leadtek and visiontek) If you can't find one there, go to Google.com and type in "Your brand" Overclocker and see what you can find. Also, Powerstrip can tweak most cards."
