Apple's new iPad gets high-def Retina Display just as expected, still no name

Apple just announce the new iPad several minutes ago and as everyone expected it will come with Retina Display, you know... the same high quality display as found in the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s.

To be precise, it comes with a 2048 x 1536 resolution which equates to 264 pixels per inch. Yep, it is higher than a standard 1080p HD resolution and should offer splendid image quality just as claimed by Apple.

Apple are still calling this device the "new iPad", still no official name yet. iPad 3 or iPad HD - what do you think?
