Two Cases Reviews And A LED Fan Roundup

By: (more) | Roundups News | Posted: Sep 10, 2002 5:30 pm

First off out of this bunch is Overclocker Warehouse with their review of the CoolerMaster ATC-600 SX1 aluminium desktop case, it would make a good looking audio/visual PC though.

Remember the ancient, original desktop PCs? Before the ATX case came around, the kind that laid on your desk "sideways", with a monitor sitting on top? Unfortunately, so do we. Cooler Master has brought them back with some style, though, through the ATC-600 and -610 desktop series.

SolidMercury.net is next along with a look at the HUGE Macase Champion Blue Fulltower ATX case.

OK lets just get straight in to this review cos we all know that's what you want. First off an introduction to the company Macase most of you probably hadn't heard of them before and neither had I but it appears that they are a Sydney base manufacturer/Supplier. The first product we have from Macase was sent to us by FortuneTech and this is the KA130-BL from the Champion series. Now you may recognize this case all ready but if now we wont spoil it for you straight away.

Last but not least is Icrontic with a LED Fan roundup comprising of several participants.

Computer case modification has become a large part of the overclocking community. There are entire forums and stores dedicated to the subject. The fact of the matter is, we all want a cool-looking computer, and the only way to set yourself apart from the rest of the crowd is to do a few modifications to your case. One of the most common modifications is a glow light, such as a StreetGlow kit. Now, however, we have the emergence of a new "case modification", the glow lights without the kits - LED fans.
