Twitter users on BlackBerry-based smartphones can rest now, Twitter has been updated. Twitter for BlackBerry has hit version 3.0.0.20, and with it, brings a bunch of new features. First up we have an entire new layout, BBM Connected App Integration, Twitter Photo Service Support, Automatic Link Shortening, and over Wi-Fi, promoted Tweets and improved notifications.

Twitter for BlackBerry's stand out feature (to me) would be the ability to uploaded photos to pic.twitter.com directly from your BlackBerry's camera, or as you're typing or tapping up a tweet. Twitter for BlackBerry 3.0 can be downloaded in the link below, but you must have BlackBerry 5 installed as your OS before you can do so.

Older version of the BB OS such as 4.6? Sorry, you can only use version 2.0 of Twitter. Boo.
