Instagram now available on Android, life just a bit more fair
One of the most anticipated app releases in the history of Android has just occurred today. That's right, you can download Instagram on any Android phone running 2.2 or higher that supports OpenGL ES 2. However, if you're looking for Instagram on an Android tablet, it's not quite there yet. I'm sure the port will occur soon enough.

The app is free to download and is said to contain all of the same filters as the iOS version. There are a few features, however, that will not be included in the first release. Tilt Shift / Blur, Share from Feed, Live Preview and Share to Flickr are those features. The algorithms are the exact same as on the iOS version, so the only difference is between cameras.
Life just got a little more fair. Unless you're me, because now I have to put up with twice as many Instagram picture posts on my Facebook feed. Joy. You can download Instagram on Google Play today.
