Medal of Honor: Warfighter gameplay footage has arrived

By: (more) | Gaming News | Posted: Apr 16, 2012 5:34 am

EA's rebooted again first-person shooter, Medal of Honor: Warfighter has received some gameplay footage. The Frostbite 2-powered FPS is shaping up quite nicely after the mess that was the last MOH title.

The new gameplay trailer shows off some of the single-player campaign, its gorgeous graphics which definitely have been taken on PC if the sharpness and AA are anything to go by. The gameplay looks like the same old thing, with nothing really changing which isn't exciting me one bit.

How about we change things up from the usual first-person shooter formula? I'm going to be very disappointed if next-gen consoles launch and all we get are prettier first-person shooters. Yes, I want graphics, but I also want the beefed up hardware to bring better gameplay. New gameplay. Reinvigorated gameplay. Something that every single person plays and goes "Yep, this is THE shiznit".

Medal of Honor: Warfighter arrives in September on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Pre-order and you get a 40-hour tactical advantage, which means you get 40 hours of playing before everyone else does.
