Microsoft may have found a new OEM partner in Huawei, they would make Windows 8, Windows Phone 8 devices
China-based Huawei is poised to become Microsoft's new OEM partner, where they've offered to make Windows Phone 8- and Windows 8-based tablet products. Huawei are looking to debut new phones and tablets running Microsoft's latest and greatest touch-enabled OS by the end of the year.

Huawei has, until now, predominantly been concentrating on their Android-based products and have only recently started working with the Redmond-based company. Huawei have a little while ago been rumored to have created a 70-strong team of Windows Phone peeps, which would begin developing hardware for Windows 8 for release this year. On top of smartphones, Huawei would also create tablets compatible with Windows 8.
Huawei have been waiting to smash into the US market, recently bringing their Ascend P1 to the US market as well as moving its R&D operations to Silicon Valley. A partnership with Microsoft shows a huge improvement with the two companies' relationship. This first sign of love is a strong one.
