Ouya cracks $3.7 million in Kickstarter funds, continues to grow exponentially

Ouya is breaking all sorts of records here, with their Kickstarter-funded Android-based gaming console only requiring $950,000 worth of pledged money in order to get started. We reported on it a little over 24 hours ago, where they had $1.7 million in funding.

But now, they've reached an astounding $3.7 million, and with 27 days of fundraising to go, there seems to be no signs of it slowing down. The Tegra 3-powered console is set to truly revolutionize gaming, and with $950,000, they were able to deliver this. What will they do with over $3.7 million? At this rate, they could break $10 million without a sweat.

Ouya, in the great words of Rob Schneider and his many lines in Adam Sandler movies "you can do it!" I've also just noticed the $225 Kickstarter-exclusive pledge is back... with just over 900 remaining. This one includes two controllers with your username ETCHED into it, so they're unique to you. I've just pledged from $99 to $256 (my username includes those numbers). Excellent.
