Lenovo begins selling IdeaTab S2110 for $400

By: (more) | Mobile Devices, Tablets & Phones News | Posted: Jul 24, 2012 3:53 pm

Tablets seem to be a dime a dozen these days. Almost every major player in the computer market has one on sale and this includes Lenovo who has begun selling their IdeaTab S2110 for $450. However, the device is currently available for $343.20 and you can snag the optional keyboard accessory for only $56 more.

This pricing has Lenovo's competitors beat by a small margin. ASUS charges $150 alone for the keyboard for their Transformer tablets and the tablets start around $400-500. The S2110 comes with a very nice specification list which is sure to not disappoint. It runs Android 4.0, and has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and 1.3-megapixel front webcam.

It also comes with stereo speakers, optional 3G connectivity, 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16-32GB of internal flash storage, and gets 8-9 hours of battery life (Lenovo says 10 hours). The screen seems to be the only place "lacking" as it is only 1280x800. While that's not bad, it's no longer impressive like the iPad Retina or other displays on tablets.
