USB 2.0 against FireWire
In the market for an external hard drive but can't make your mind up whether to go USB 2.0 or FireWire?
Well X-bit labs decided to find out for themslves just which one is the better and if you want to know then you better get over there.
We decided to figure out which interface of all available today is the most efficient for disk subsystems: the praised USB 2.0, the FireWire or the old buddy ATA/100. The experiments were carried out with Western Digital WD1200BB hard disk drive, and the results appeared really unexpected!More information at X-bit labs
