Team Fortress 2's 'Mann vs Machine" introduces co-op horde mode

By: (more) | Gaming News | Posted: Aug 15, 2012 8:56 am

Valve did tease us with something "brand new" for Team Fortress 2 this year, and they've delivered, big time. The developer has just announced "Mann vs Machine" which brings a gloriously delicious co-op horde mode to the game.

Horde Mode will see five players battle it out against horde's of robots shaped in the image of the classes from TF2 (such as Heavy, Pyro, etc). They're known as the Gray Horde, and they're strong in numbers. The new gear goes live on August 15, so get ready, as your Steam should update pretty much any minute now (if it hasn't already).

Is this exciting for TF2 players? This is enough news for me to get back into the game to check it out after months and months of not touching it!
