TweakTown is Wheels Down in Santa Clara for Flash Memory Summit 2012

By: (more) | Trade Shows News | Posted: Aug 21, 2012 3:29 am

TweakTown has arrived in Sunny California and it's a beautiful day here in Silicon Valley. For the next week Paul and I have several meetings planned to discuss a magnitude of topics covering both enterprise and consumer products. Flash Memory Summit is also where attendees learn of new standards and upcoming market trends. These often start out as enterprise products and trickle down to the consumer market.

As you can see we started off the morning right. Keeping with TweakTown tradition, afternoon Martinis on empty stomachs.

Then we were off to the convention center to pick up our press kits and have some one-on-one time with Toshiba, maker of our favorite 24nm and 19nm Toggle Mode flash.

While looking around we found a seminar taking place, SSDs 101, Introduction to SSDs for Noobs.

Flash Memory Summit should be a good event and we should come away from the show with a lot of new topics to discuss in the future.
