RumorTT: NFC chip on the next-gen iPhone gets caught on camera
New images that are supposedly of the front assembly of the upcoming new iPhone are showing a component, that until now, hasn't been seen before. The screenshot below shows a chip, which some are saying is an near field communication (NFC) chip.
This is a big, big 'RumorTT' post, so we, nor the source, can verify whether this is indeed real, but it would make sense. The photos were found over the weekend by Chinese site, Apple.pro, which reportedly show a fully-assembled next-gen iPhone front assembly. If Apple make the new iPhone NFC-capable, it would really push the technology to another level. NFC tech is already here, but its not yet widespread enough to make enough impact.

The new iPhone is nearly here, are you excited? I'm looking forward to seeing if Apple can push the envelope once again, or if we're looking at a slightly bigger, slightly faster iPhone 4S.
