Microsoft Releases Info on it's New Office 11 Suite

By: (more) | Posted: Oct 23, 2002 2:18 pm

Here we have a news blurb about the new MS Office 11 Suite Microsoft plans on releasing in Mid 2003. It features such things as a new XML formatting tool, revamped Outlook, as well as improved E-mail support for sending documents. You can bet that it will have a hefty price tag attatched.

Company execs are emphasizing XML-enabled additions to the desktop-applications package, which is licensed for use to 170 million people worldwide. The upgrade, being called Office 11, is "about connecting business processes, connecting people, and connecting and managing information," lead product manager David Jaffe says.
Now here's the kicker. Ask yourself if you plan to spend US$500 on this? Take into consideration if you're a business the infamous "one installation, one computer" rule and you might be getting into the pricey side of things.

My personal recommendation: Do yourself a favor and check out
