Samsung's Galaxy Note II gets thrown into the ring of benchmarks, can definitely handle itself

Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Note II has been benchmarked already, with the 5.5-inch smartphone keeping its own against the flagship Galaxy S III from the same South Korean-based company.

The original 5.3-inch Galaxy Note sported a dual-core 1.4GHz processor, but the Note II's processor has been beefed up with a quad-core 1.6GHz Exynos processor, and it performs admirably.

Engadget have compared the Note II to the original Note and its dual-core processor, it simply cleans the floor with it in every benchmark, and so it should. So if you're looking to upgrade from your Note to the Note II, this might just be enough to push you over the edge.
