RumorTT: Nokia 'Glory' to run Windows Phone 7.8, will be released before holiday season

Nokia is rumored to be releasing a Windows Phone 7.8. While the announcement most likely won't come at tomorrow's press conference with Microsoft, the new device, currently operating under the name Nokia 'Glory', will be released in time for this year's holiday season and will be designed to replace the Nokia Lumia 610.

Windows Phone 7.8 is about to be outdated, but Nokia has a good reason for using it. You see, the Nokia 'Glory' will be a low-end smartphone, with modest specifications and, reportedly, an even more modest price tag. This device could be great for Nokia to scoop up some of the low-end Android market.

The device is said to be sporting a 4-inch, 480×800 resolution display. The device will be powered by an 800MHz processor and 256MB of RAM. These specifications, if true, will affect the device's ability to use the marketplace. But with specs like these, the price tag should be low, if not free, after subsidy.
