Motorola's event in New York city has given life to a new handset from the company, the Droid RAZR Maxx HD. The Droid RAZR Maxx HD sports a 4.7-inch 1280x720 Super AMOLED HD display, powered by Google's latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.

The hardware baked inside of the Droid RAZR Maxx HD is just as beefy, sporting a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm S4 processor, 32GB of internal storage, an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a surprisingly large battery sitting at 3,300mAh. Oh, and it also Kevlar-coated, too.

The 3,300mAh battery is probably the star of the phone, where Moto are saying that it can provide 32 hours of "performance", the longest of any LTE-based smartphone. It can handle 13 hours of video playback, 10 hours of YouTube HD content, or 8 hours of web surfing. Motorola have promised that the Droid RAZR Maxx HD will be available in the US on Verizon's 4G LTE network, with details on release dates and pricing closer to its official release.
