LG's Intuition gets looked at, is the company's answer to the Galaxy Note

We've heard about LG's Galaxy Note-like phone, the Optimus Vu, or the Intuition, depending on which country you're from. But Android Central are in New York, where they've scored some hands-on time with the new phablet from LG.

Sporring a 5-inch IPS display with a 4:3 aspect ratio, it really does make the phone look much different to most smartphones, not just in screen size, but the aspect ratio. LG says that the Intuition is meant mainly for document and text viewing. It's not a phone for everyone, and LG are making this known right from the get-go.

Android Central had some hands-on time with the Intuition, and now we have some specs to tease you with. We're looking at a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S3 processor, no removable battery, and no microSD card slot. Quite the disappointment considering the Intuition's competition, the Note, has both a removable battery, and microSD card slot. Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich comes baked into the device, but LG didn't hint at plans to upgrades of Jelly Bean anytime soon. Feel free to take a look at Android Central's first look at the LG Intuition video below.
