MSN Butterfly Guy Sparks Controversy.. Someone Invent MSN Bugspray!
Well most of us have seen the new Butterfly Guy for MSN. New York recently had their share of infestations due to a massive campain on Microsoft's part. I just have to ask myself: "What were they thinking". I mean come on! That's just one person's opinion though. Or is it? The Register has finally put their finger on it. See what they have to say, and decide for yourself!
In a recent article dealing with Microsoft's advertising crimes against New York City I described their new MSN-8 butterfly advert as bearing "the silhouette of a ghastly adult male with ludicrous antennae reminiscent of the 'Killer Bee' skits from Saturday Night Live, and creepy, superhero gloves, with colorful 'butterfly' wings."More information @ The Register
A number of Reg readers have argued that the figure most closely resembles a character named Arthur from a comic strip, an animated series and a live-action series called "The Tick".
I must admit that the resemblance is uncanny...
Ok, I have to admit that I was going to search the net and find a pic of the actual Butterfly Guy to ridicule and most likely Photoshop it. Instead, I found that there was no need to put my graphical skills to the test. Someone did far better on their own.

Let this be a lesson: You post a picture to the internet and someone's gonna find it.
