Apple's new iPhone 5 sports nano-SIM - your SIM need not apply

Apple's iPhone 5 has been filling all tech sites with news, wet pants, and dreams all across the world, and now we have confirmed news that Apple's new iPhone requires a nano-SIM. If you thought the micro-SIM was an annoying move, get ready for yet another change.

The nano-SIm standard was an Apple-designed change, and the company will now be relying on even smaller SIM cards for GSM, HSPA and LTE networks. Apple have said that there's no going back either, so holding onto your current micro-SIM won't help you at all.
