RIM has had a bit of a celebration in light of BBM, the abbreviation for BlackBerry Messenger, being added to the Collins English Dictionary. If you look at the list of words added by Collins, RIM doesn't really have much to celebrate. I'd like to take a moment to highlight some of BBM's company.

Take, for instance, fandabidozi. This interesting addition means "an expression of admiration or enthusiasm." I'm not really sure that this qualifies as a word in any sense of the English language, but then again, I am a writer. Floordrobe is another interesting word among BBM's new company. It means "a pile of clothes left on the floor of a room."

The point I'm trying to make is that RIM doesn't have much to celebrate. If they were added to the Oxford English dictionary, or an equivalent, then maybe the marketing team should be making noise. For right now, RIM needs to keep working on new products so that they stay afloat and can continue having a marketing team that can celebrate these minor achievements.
