Broadband providers prep for Xbox Live Launch

By: (more) | Gaming News | Posted: Oct 31, 2002 11:19 am

The Digital Resource are reporting that Microsoft's Xbox Live service will go live on the 15th of November. Broadband providers in the United States and Canada are currently preparing to support the on-slaught of Xbox users wanting to frag their best friends over the PC based gaming console down the street.

As Microsoft says, "The first comprehensive, online game arena fully dedicated to fast-action broadband gaming experiences," Xbox Live will take place next month, November 15th. The 10 U.S. and Canadian broadband providers are opening up to the new found friend, Xbox Live. They will also help support Microsoft® Xbox (TM) Live to help provider consumers with a strong broadband connection to play against users online with playing the Xbox.
