LG's Nexus 4 gets prodded once more, this time its of the inside of the phone itself

We've been hearing more and more about LG's upcoming Nexus 4 smartphone, with a few pictures and spec leaks but now we're looking at a picture of the Nexus 4 with its back cover off.

There's not much to see here, but we can see a big spot blank thanks to its included 2100mAh battery which is unfortunately not user-replaceable. There are only a few screws between that battery being snug in the Nexus 4, and being replaced - so things could change very quickly.

The other bits of the Nexus 4 seem pretty standard, a plastic frame is used, gold contacts for the antennae, cutouts for the rear speaker, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash. Underneath that we're talking about Qualcomm's Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core 1.5GHz SoC, and the other goodies, RAM, internal storage, and more.

It's only a few more days until the October 29 event, so stay tuned!
