Iron Man 3 trailer is here - Stark hits rock bottom, again

By: (more) | HT & Movies News | Posted: Oct 24, 2012 3:32 am

When the first Iron Man came out, I remember it as being a breath of fresh air for comic book movies. It's not like they had become stale, with X-Men and its sequel doing really well at the box office between a slew of other comic book-based heroes, but Iron Man felt fresh.

The sequel really dived down a bit, offering more action than the original, but the final battle was lacklustre. The Avengers kicked arse, and offered a bunch of the Marvel heroes in the same movie. The original two Iron Man flicks were directed by Jon Favreau, but the third Iron Man is directed by Shane Black who has worked with Downey Jr on Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

The trailer above shows that we're in for some huge action set pieces, and as usual, the life of Tony Stark is grim, more so than the previous two Iron Man movies. I loved that trailer and I'm very amped for Iron Man 3 next year.
