Hurricane Sandy survivor plays Skyrim in Ford Edge due to power outage
Hurricane Sandy has been in the headlines the past couple of days due to its destructive path through the east coast of the United States. Millions are currently without power, but when you get the itch to play Skyrim, you'll do anything and everything to scratch it.
Reddit user 'pvalerio' posted a photo of his friend using his Ford Edge in order to play Skyrim from his Xbox 360. His Ford Edge has audio / video inputs where he can connect his Xbox 360 to his vehicle and used a power inverter to plug his console into the DC outlet of his vehicle.
The friend, who posts under 'rontourage' on Reddit, admitted he only played for about 10 minutes as he didn't want to completely kill his car's battery or run out of gas during a natural disaster. Seeing how much of a time suck Skyrim can be, it's a good thing he decided not to go for a regular gaming session, which could easily last from 4-180 hours.
