Epox on our side

By: (more) | Posted: Nov 15, 2002 4:19 am

Epox have been long time supporters of overclockers, as evident in many of their motherboard products over the past couple of years. Living up to this, The Inquirer have a story posted which says Epox have announced a new BIOS for its KT400 series of motherboards which enable multiplier overclocking of all AMD Athlon "Thoroughbred" processors, without having to pull out the pencil.

See, even motherboard companies are starting to make life easier for us enthusiasts.

Epox has made it possible to have processors that are multiplier unlocked on AMD retail Athlons. This means you will be able to overclock your CPU just by plugging in it into the board, and then overclocking at will, because of the voltage and other settings Epox includes.
