[H] Rebellion Coverage - Kyle responds, deception remains

By: (more) | Posted: Nov 16, 2002 5:11 am

Kyle recently coughed up some unmeaningful dribble on his frontpage of HardOCP regarding the whole fiasco of the fake Pentium 4 3.06GHz benchmark results which seem to be the hot topic of the day in many forums - which I'm attempting to monitor throughout the day, for some real and definitive answer.

I put it to Kyle, if the benchmarking results were a simple and honest mistake which he had forgotten to alert his readers about - why would you bother disabling numerous amounts of features in your community forums? Such as new user registration (I want to express my opinion, but got a rude shock when an error message appeared), access to view which pages users are viewing and worst of all, continuing to ban users who only seek the truth.

Kyle my friend, one day you've got to learn you're only human - mistakes are made often, some worse than others.
