Microsoft updates SkyDrive app, includes improvements and SD card upload feature
Comment | Print | Email to a Friend | Font Size: AAMicrosoft have just pushed out updates to their Android- and Windows Phone-based SkyDrive apps, where they've reached version 1.1 for Android and version 3.0 for Windows Phone. SkyDrive 1.1 for Android includes support that allows uers to upload any file type to their SkyDrive directly from the SD card, instead of just internal storage.
On top of this, Android users can now properly manage and rename features - something that iOS users already enjoyed. New settings to manage photo uploads and downloads are also included. The new updated apps can be found in the Google Play store, and Windows Marketplace.
Also included with SkyDrive 1.1/3.0 is an updated app icon and new visuals, as well as the usual bug fixes.
