Sharp to ship its first IGZO-based smartphone on November 29

Sharp aren't a big player in the smartphone market, but the company are set to launch their new flagship smartphone, the Aquos Phone Zeta SH-02E on November 29.

The new smartphone from Sharp will be their first phone to sport the IZGO-based display that will spread itself across a 4.9-inch, 720p LCD display. We should see Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich melt its way into the heart of the SH-02E.

The Japan-bound smartphone will sport Qualcomm's Snapdragon S4 Pro, a 16-megapixel camera and LTE capabilities. Unfortunately Sharp weren't the first to the market with their new IGZO display, with that medal going to ASUS and their Padfone 2.
