Apple are finally offering unlocked iPhone 5s in the US, which will be off-contract and will work on GSM, HSPA+, and LTE networks. The unlocked iPhone 5 will come in the same capacities and colors as the carrier-locked versions.

Apple offer the iPhone 5 in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB which are priced at $649, $749 and $849, respectively. All of the variants have a one-week shipping time, which isn't too bad.

But, we now live in a world where Google offer the Nexus 4 smartphone for just $349 - so the iPhone 5 is nearly double the price. Yes it has LTE, but that's about the only killer feature over the Nexus 4, but it costs $300 more. If you're the type of person who wants to stay in the iOS ecosystem, of course, this is finally the news you want to hear - unlocked iPhone 5s in the US.
