Microsoft to give each and every employee a Surface tablet, they've got to get rid of them somehow

By: (more) | Mobile Devices, Tablets & Phones News | Posted: Dec 14, 2012 11:27 am

Full-time employees of Microsoft will have grins on their faces this year, as they have either, or will shortly receive a free Surface tablet. Employees in twelve countries will receive the free tablets.

These countries include France, China, Australia, Hong Kong, Austria, Ireland, Puerto Rico, New Zealand, Germany and of course, the United States. Microsoft's goal, according to ZDNet, is to get Surface into the hands of their employees before Christmas.

Considering Microsoft's Surface tablet isn't doing so well out in the wild, this won't do much to help them. But, it will give, in the near future, 94,000-or-so employees a chance to show off their Surface tablets at home, at the coffee shop, or at their local train station.
