Randi Zuckerberg decries her private picture posted to Facebook being shared publicly

By: (more) | Current Affairs News | Posted: Dec 26, 2012 10:03 pm

In an event that will bring attention to Facebook's privacy settings, Randi Zuckerberg, sister of Mark Zuckerberg, had a private Christmas picture spread around the Internet after posting it to her Facebook. The image was meant to be private, but people shared it and it quickly made it out on Twitter. Of course, you can see the picture below:

Randi is not a bit happy that this private picture, portraying her family's reaction to the new "Poke" app, ended up being shared to a wider audience than she intended. Unfortunately, that is one of the problems of Facebook's confusing privacy settings. A series of tweets ensued between Randi and Callie Schweitzer, the person who originally posted it to the public webs.

In the end, Randi takes the chance to preach about "human decency" and digital etiquette, not about Facebook's confusing privacy settings.
