Vodafone's Nearly New program entices penny-pinchers with pre-owned smartphones

Penny Pinching mobile users in the UK will be happy to hear of Vodafone's new program to offer "previously loved" phones at a discounted price.

The UK based mobile phone carrier has named the pre-owned phone program "Nearly New". Vodafone is targeting the pay as you go users in hopes of transitioning them into smart phones at a discounted rate.

 

Available devices will vary from month to month based on return inventory, but the company already has iOS and Android devices on tap ready to go. Customers happy with off-contract service can choose between an iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4, with an 8GB flavor of the latter ringing up at £250.
