Acer, Lava, and Safaricom have announced designs based upon the new processor and platform. "The addition of the low-power Atom platform enables Intel to address new market segments and further rounds out our expanding portfolio of smartphone offerings," said Bell.

It has the normal features: HyperThreading, support for two cameras, and dual SIMs. It will deliver two times the performance of the current Z2460 platform.
