CES 2013 - Samsung has shown off a revamped Galaxy S II at CES and is targeting the budget minded smartphone user. The Galaxy S II Plus is essentially a Galaxy S II that is running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Sporting a 4.3-inch 480x800 screen, 1.2GHz dual core processor, 2 megapixel and 8 megapixel front and rear camera respectively, the S II Plus is still a very viable smartphone. It also features 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage that can be augmented via SD card.

Samsung has not released pricing info as of this posting, but given its mid-range specs, it should prove to be very affordable. There is no word yet either on when existing Galaxy S II's will get the Android 4.1 upgrade.
