VIA P4X400 also supports Hyper-Threading
VIA cannot be left out of the buzz-word phenomenon as French website Impact Hardware discovered where VIA's P4X400 chipset also supports Hyper-Threading (HT) - the art of making a single Pentium 4 processor appear as two.
Apparently, HT support was only going to be implemented in the upcoming P4X400A next year. However, I can confirm for you all that HT does in fact already exist - our local VIA rep just confirmed it for us over ICQ.

During my tests, I had fun to use it with Pentium 4 3.06GHz supporting HyperThreading technology. Which was not my surprise when under Windows XP, I could see that two processors were detected...
After having made a turn in Bios, I realized that the HyperThreading option was desactivable, proof that I did not have the berlue!
