2013 is set to be the year of a huge game changer for, well, games. It looks like Sony could be out of the gate first this time round, where the Japanese company is teasing a PlayStation event for February 20 at 6pm.

Sony says that the PlayStation Meeting 2013 will allow us to "see the future", but are vague with everything else. The video above is really a total tease, made up of abstract renderings of the old school PlayStation button symbols. Very small flashes splash the screen, teasing something else - so I'm sure we'll see some Internet wonder kids work this out, hopefully.

Not long until we know what Sony want to show us, but wanting to show us the future is a pretty big hint at the future of PlayStation. Let's hope Sony don't let us down.
