HTC Thunderbolt getting Android 4.0

HTC has officially started rolling out an update to the Thunderbolt that will bring the two-year-old device up to Android Ice Cream Sandwich version 4.0.4. The new version of Android even comes complete with Sense 3.6, HTC's Android UI overlay.
If you're a Thunderbolt device owner, you may still have to wait a few days for the rollout to reach you, but you can rest well tonight knowing that you will soon have access to a fairly recent version of Android. It's doubtful that the Thunderbolt will ever get upgraded again as it is almost out of contract.
