ASUS Fonepad hands-on, we take a look at ASUS' super-cheap smartphone at MWC 2013

MWC 2013 - Our guy on the scene, Johannes Knapp has another hands-on from Mobile World Congress, with the latest video a look at ASUS' cheap Fonepad. We see it as a 7-inch tablet, phone, whatever you want to call it.

You can use it as a normal phone, or possibly connect via Bluetooth to use it. 7-inch 1280x720 display, Intel Atom processor cranks along inside, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 3-megapixel rear-facing camera. European-based consumers won't be getting a camera on the rear, with the international version the one shown off the most.

MicroUSB port on the bottom, 3.5mm headphone/speaker jack, power button and volume rocker are on the left side of the device. We think the build quality is quite nice, which is great for the price - just $249.
