Changes to Front Page (more 56k friendly)

By: (more) | Posted: Aug 21, 2003 6:27 am

I've just made some changes to the front page here at TweakTown to help decrease load times, mainly for our 56k readers who have been expressing concern lately.

Firstly the number of news items has been decreased from 30 to 10 and the bottom 468x60 ad has been removed altogether. The top 728x90 ad is down at the moment but will be re-added shortly (ad host server is currently down).

If you want to view older news posts just go to the bottom of the page and select the amount of news posts you want to display! 56k users, please let us know what you think by commenting below!
