- New graphics chip company

XGI, a spin-off company of SiS, will be launching three new graphics processors in September this year at Computex including high end, mainstream and entry level products according to the company's President, Mr. Chris Lin.

The rep from Extreme Graphics Innovation also confirmed that his company will make a lot of efforts in order to popularize XGI's brand-names. "For a graphics vendor, if you just totally focus on the entry level it is not easy to build your brand name," company's President Mr. Chris Lin said. "So in order to get back into being a real graphics vendor for discrete parts, we need to offer a full product line to the market, including high end, mainstream and entry level."
