We need 64-bit and SMP benchmarks!

By: (more) | Posted: Aug 28, 2003 2:53 am

We have had a good response from our preview of VIA's P8T800 chipset with companies and readers telling us about 64-bit and SMP benchmarks applications and games for Linux and Windows XP 64-bit.

We need much more though. If you work for a company who produces 64-bit and or SMP-enabled software or benchmarks or just know of any, please contact us. We need help with donations of these sorts of software which will enable us to post a follow-up to our preview of the P8T800 with a more solid look at performance of 64-bit SMP processors now and into the future.

We are already working with VIA on this but require the assistance of other companies and readers who are, "in the know". Thanks for listening.
