- Enermax Case

OCIA checks out the Enermax X Window CS-5688BFS Pearl White Case in their latest review. I'm personally not too exited about this particular model. I guess if you're in the market for a lower end solution, it will do the trick…

The enclosed power supply is adequate but I had to add molex y splitters to connect all my devices. I added a single Hard Drive, A CDRW and a DVD. The case also has 5 fans which includes the blue 4 LED fan included with the case. I would like to have seen more connectors buy it was easily worked around. I placed a MSI KT4A Ultra FISR with an XP2500 processor into the case. I use it at my place of employment as a development box and I haven't had any problems. The box is not overclocked since I use it for code development and that environment stresses stability instead of speed.

The guys at MODTHEBOX review a watercooling kit from Danger Den....this maze looks so tight.

The highlight of the Danger Den Power Water Cooling Kit is the inclusion of the latest MAZE4 revision water block. The water block is comprised of two separate pieces; a laser cut Lucite top and copper bottom which are secured by six screws. Two chrome valves (inlet and outlet) exist on the top portion of the Lucite plate and are compatible with 1/2" ID tubing. The construction of the water block was completed using high precision CNC and laser production methods. The formations of the walls on the copper base enable the water block to efficiently distribute water above the core of the CPU and effectively cool at lower temperatures
