- A Look At Case Mods For The Uninitiated

 

Although not strictly gaming, the majority of case modders are us hard-working gamers. Isa Jones takes those of you without much of a clue about case modding through the basics and shows you a few examples.

 

Unless you've been living under a rock for the last couple of years, you would have at some stage come across various forms of 'case modifications'. Case modifications, or case mods, are big business. It ranges from simple neon or LED lights, to Perspex windows displaying the interior of one's computer, all the way to some very abstract designs.

 


- Wario Ware Inc: Mega Microgame$

 

As a large percentage of Gameboy titles are unoriginal - either ports from another system or updates of good ol' SNES or original Gameboy titles - it's refreshing to see Nintendo take a new approach and putting an original title on the market. And, as Gavin Ballard finds out, Wario Ware Inc: Mega Microgames is definately original.

 

Overall, Wario Ware Inc: Mega Microgame$ is a breath of fresh air. Incredibly fast-paced, simple to pick up, and with enough variety to keep you entertained for hours on end. Beyond that, the gameplay may begin to drag a little, though the unlockables like "Dr Wario" (essentially a full version of Dr Mario with the star...uh...replaced) have the potential to increase the lifespan. Basically, if you own a GameBoy Advance, pick up a copy of this game. If you don't, and have extended periods of boredom in your life (such as work), buy a GameBoy Advance and then pick up a copy of this game.
