- Better late than never

X-Bit Labs has posted a 6-way VIA KT400A motherboard roundup, which is better late than never.

- ASUS to produce ATI based VGA cards

ASUS, a long time supporter of nVidia, has decided to start producing ATI based cards according to Digi Times. The products are expected to launch late next month, probably during Computex.

Asustek Computer, a key customer for Nvidia's graphics chipsets in Asia, expects to launch own-brand graphics cards featuring ATI solutions by the end of this quarter. The two sides expect to officially announce the news in late September, according to sources.

- Call of Duty hiccup for Activision

Gaming websites around the world spat the dummy earlier on when they discovered Activision were planning on offering File Planet subscribers the demo of Call of Duty exclusively. Shack News managed to convince them otherwise, phew!

The recent reaction to the upcoming Call of Duty demo has caught us here at Activision by surprise. We're appreciative and excited about of the high level of enthusiasm the game has received throughout the gaming community. Due to the tremendous demand for the demo we are answering the call by not only making the demo freely available to all gamers at the same time, but early This Friday Night - just in time for the long weekend.
