New Design Changes!

By: (more) | Posted: Sep 19, 2003 3:18 pm

We (well not me personally, mainly Gavin!) have spent the past week or so working on ways to dress up TweakTown a little more while improve navigation and content searching. All of our article, guide and review index pages have been scraped in favour of a more friendly and appealing single article category index page, with our new category identification icons, which allows you to then choose a sub-category including: Audio, Cases and Cooling, Storage, Visual, Memory, Motherboards, CPU and Chipset, Small Form Factor, Software, Trade Shows, Networking, Mobile, Guides and Miscellaneous. You will all be pleased to know that each piece of content is now matched up with its correct category rather than being all over the place like in the past.

Once you've choose a sub-category, you then can choose to sort all content alphabetically or chronologically with either content from 2003, 2002, 2001 or every year, which makes life much easier if you are trying to track down a certain piece from sometime ago, for instance. If you're lazy or in a hurry, you also could use our new and improved search function which gives you the ability to search for content in just one category or as many or as little as you like - bringing you a more advanced search that many have asked for!

These are just some of the changes we have made live only a few minutes ago. We will be making a few other slight changes over the next 24 hours as well to improve the website, including bug fixes. Enjoy and feel free to leave your comments by commenting below!
