- VIA enter the TINY time!

 

VIA Technology announced their amazingly small NanoBGA sized Eden-N processor today which is the smallest and lowest power operating x86 CPU on the market measuring in at only 15mm x 15mm. I saw this processor at a pub last month in Taiwan during Computex and thought it was a dummy and not operational - looks like I was wrong!

 

Based on a new streamlined Nehemiah core architecture the VIA Eden-N processor delivers enhanced digital media performance features and the industry's most advanced embedded hardware security technologies in a tiny nanoBGA package measuring just 15mm x 15mm to provide the world's smallest, lowest power, and most secure native x86 processor.
