- GeForce FX 5950 @ The INQ

Fuad Abazovic over at The INQ has posted an early review of Gainward's CoolFX PowerPack Ultra 1800XT Ultra Golden sample which is based on nVidia's GeForce FX 5950 Ultra (NV38) GPU. The NDA for this GPU is just about up, so expect a bunch of reviews shortly - including our review which will be posted in the next day or two.

Nvidia upgraded the speed of its current core and Gainward did a super upgrade but at a price. Nvidia's reference clock speed beats ATI's Radeon 9800PRO 256 MB DDR 2 edition in every single case but bear in mind that we haven't played with the Radeon 9800XT yet.

- Geil Radeon 9800 Pro

Geil, a company who produces performance PC memory, seems to have teamed up with ATI to produce Radeon based graphics cards with heat pipe technology cooling. Modlabs Light has some pictures and text in another language of the GT2 card.
