- Diamond Multimedia is back!

My first ever 3D graphics accelerator was the Diamond Viper 330 and I loved it to bits back when I bought it about 7 years ago. Fans of the original Stealth and Viper series of popular graphics cards will be excited to find out Diamond Multimedia is making a come back to the graphics card game with GPU's from both ATI and nVidia. Welcome back guys!

- SFF at Computex

The folks over at SFF Tech visited Computex last month in Taiwan, just like us, and took photos of a massive amount of Small Form Factor computers and posted about them on their website. SFF fans rejoice!

During my visit, it soon became obvious that the whole SFF 'scene' had exploded, since my visit to CeBit in March 2003. Most companies there were getting onto the SFF 'bandwagon' & bringing out either a barebone, case, or motherboard. There was a vast array of new stuff available - covering the entire spectrum: Expensive, cheap, stylish, horrid, quiet, noisy, unique & cloned! Some of the more minor stuff is not mentioned in this review, as this article has become a more monsterous piece of writing than I could ever have imaginedWas I excited upon my arrival? You bet! - nVidia System Utility Preview

Yesterday nVidia released their System Utility software which allows tweaking within Windows. Today Kalyan Rai from nV News has posted a full preview of the software.

This utility program is a powerful collection of tool for enthusiasts with nForce2 or nForce3 motherboards. (There is no support for nForce motherboards). In short, NVSU lets you tweak and change various settings within a windows interface to eek out the performance overclockers crave. NVSU will let you overclock FSB, tweak voltage settings (including CPU, AGP, and RAM), even some memory timings, or even change fan speed on the fly within a windows session thereby negating some tweaking through the BIOS.
